By accessing or using Reado (“the Service”), operated by Reado (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to create an account and use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Reado is a children's educational app that provides personalized reading lessons and activities for children ages 4–8. The Service is intended to be used by children under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts and Registration

• Only parents or legal guardians may create accounts on behalf of their children
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account

4. Parental Consent

By creating an account and allowing your child to use Reado, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child and consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for supervising your child's use of the Service.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

• Some features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase
• Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change with notice
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us

6. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with Reado. If you are not happy with your purchase, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase by contacting us at hello@readoapp.com. Refunds are processed through Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Use automated means to access the Service without our permission

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, and software, are owned by Reado and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. While Reado is designed as an educational tool, we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reado shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
